The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Once upon a time, in a village nestled between green hills, there lived a mischievous boy who tended the village's flock of sheep.
One day, while watching over the sheep, the boy grew bored and decided to play a prank on the villagers. He climbed to the top of a hill and cried out, "Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is attacking the sheep!"
Hearing the boy's cries, the villagers rushed to his aid, only to find no wolf. The boy laughed at their panicked faces and said it was just a joke.
Days passed, and the boy grew restless again. This time, when he saw a real wolf approaching the flock, he cried out for help, "Wolf! Wolf! Please help! The wolf is attacking the sheep!"
But this time, the villagers ignored his cries, thinking it was another prank. Sadly, the wolf attacked the flock, and the boy learned a valuable lesson about the consequences of lying.
Moral of the story: Honesty is the best policy. Lying can lead to losing trust and credibility.
